Emily Skelton (B.2002, California) is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in painting and bookmaking. Oscillating between whimsical and uncanny, her work consists of wall hung pieces and interactive artist books, exploring themes of queerness, feminism, nature, and folklore. Her work has been exhibited in A World of Possibilities (2019) at the San Francisco International Airport, Art Bash- Book Arts (2023), and 2024 Spring Undergraduate Exhibition at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
